Sichuan Auto Industry Group Co., Ltd., was founded in the 90′s of 20th century which is now located in Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone. It once produced many nationally renowned car brands such as "Yema" (light off-road vehicle) and "Bailu" (Mini-vans). Especially the "Yema" light off-road vehicle which was honored as National Inspection-free Product and became the designated manufacturer of Public Security Bureau, Procuratorate, and Court.
In May of 1994, Chengdu Light Vehicle Factory restructured to form Sichuan Auto Industry Company. And in September of 2002, it was merged by Sichuan Fulin Industry Group Co., Ltd., and thus was listed as most important auto manufacturer enterprise of "Eleventh Five-Year Plan". And in August of 2006, it was formally changed its name into "Sichuan Auto Industry Group Co., Ltd.
By introduction of Rover technology and equipment, the company developed and produced SUV vehicle and passenger vehicle. Besides, the company developed CUV (F99) which both has the advantages of cars (which is comfortable) and SUV (which is safe), thus F99 is an ideal car of commuting and leisure travel.
